Chaturdasa Devata temple is situated adjacent to Mahadev Bari temple in the area of Radhakishorepur (Udaipur). It is located at a distance of 55 km from Agartala, the capital city of Tripura. According to a dedicatory inscription fixed on the wall, the largest temple was built in 1650 CE by Maharaja Kalyan Manikya and dedicated to Lord Gopinatha. The other small temple next to it was built by Maharaja Govinda Manikya in 1673 CE and dedicated to Lord Vishnu. However, the largest temple is commonly known as Choturdash Devta and the small one as Lakshmi Narayan temple.

Both the temples are similar in plan and architectural features. The temple on the western side is smaller in plan than the eastern one. This Temple complex of Chaturdasha Devata has one bhogamandapa and two temples. These two temples face south. Both of them are designed in the Chala style of Bengal architecture and share common plans and features. Their layout plans are circular at the sanctum and rectangular at the porch. The exterior walls of the sanctum, as well as the porch, are decorated with parallel rows of corbelled ribs at regular intervals. Tapering buttresses are attached to the corners of both temples. Both the core chambers and vestibules roofs are covered with a curved design and topped with a stupa-like finial over which stands a notched vase-like architectural member. A pradakshinapatha surrounds the temple.

The bhogamandapa brick masonry is covered by chala roof. There is a pair of rock cut lion at the entrance of the nat mandapa. An ancient brick wall encircles the whole temple complex.
